During our weekly visit to the local farmers’ group in Duwakot, we collected a fresh batch of low-chemical, naturally grown vegetables for our kitchen using reusable crates and reusable grocery bags, avoiding single-use plastic completely. From crisp cabbages and tender cauliflowers to vibrant leafy greens, everything we sourced is grown with care by hardworking local farmers. Supporting them means supporting healthier food, a cleaner environment, and a stronger community.
By choosing reusable materials, we not only minimize our environmental impact but also set an example for responsible sourcing. We encourage other cafés, households, and businesses to join this simple but meaningful effort.
